The new iPad has been available for a few days already. Consumers started receiving their lovely new iPad on March 16th.
Apparently, there is an overheating issue with the iPad, according to consumers. A staggering 33% of 850 respondents, agreed that the new iPad is indeed having overheating issues.
Apple must had received dozens of overheating complaints from consumers, so they responded today, “The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications. If customers have any concerns they should contact AppleCare,”

On top of that, the new iPad has a few Smart Cover Problems. The magnet polarities inside the new iPad is not different from iPad 2, and it will not automatically sleep/on.
It’s not surprising that consumers are having concerns with Apple, similar to what happened to the iPhone4 “antennagate”.
Or are people simply having too high expectations for Apple? People just have to understand that there’s no perfect product out there.
Other then it’s overheating and smart cover issues, Apple still managed to pull some crazy numbers for the new iPad.
Apple reported, The new iPad is the strongest launch yet. They sold an astonishing 3 MILLION iPads within 3 days. The cheapest iPad would be 16gb+wifi, is $519 excluding tax. Try calculating 3 MILLION X 519. Apple certainly got their cash.
