A “smart” Kentucky man, Michael Baker, decided to post a picture of himself stealing gas from cop car, and ends up in jail.
Michael Baker got his girlfriend, Joann Sandelin, to help him take a picture of himself swiping gas from a cop car, while giving the camera a middle finger.
He was arrested shortly after he posted the picture on Facebook, and indicated that it was just a joke.
Baker said, “We was just standing there and thought it would be funny to take a picture and then post it on Facebook,”
On top of that, Joann Sandelin also made a response, “Yeah, we’re sorry, but it was just a joke. I mean if we were going to steal gas, we wouldn’t put it nationwide on Facebook. We don’t steal anyway, but we’re sorry,”
At last, Baker spent a night in jail for the offence, and is now charged with theft by unlawful tanking.
Seriously, I don’t get what people are thinking these days. What was Michael Baker thinking? Was Baker baked!?
I understand that gas is expensive these days, but fines will be way more than the gas he stole!
I guess he’s smart in some way. He definitely got tons of recognition for his stupidity!
I suppose this is another friendly reminder to the people out there, don’t post stupid things on Facebook!
