How would you deal with your son/daughters regarding Facebook status updates/twitters?
A dad shoots his daughter’s laptop because of her status update, which complains about her family.
Here is the video of it. It is 8 minutes long, but it is worth watching.
To a certain extend, the things he says in the video, makes a lot of sense and applies to a lot of teenagers these days.
How would you react to situations like that? How would you teach your son/daughter to behave themselves on the internet?
Please share your thoughts!

Thanks.
With kids sometimes they only understand “extreme”. She was toally disrespectful to him would him taking the way the laptop taught her a lesson? I don’t think so.
You made a very good point. His way of taking away the laptop isn’t going to teach her a lesson. But sometimes, we should really think about, how would we teach our future son/daughters in a world we live in today? As technology becomes more advanced, it certainly puts way more stress for parenting.
I remember back then when I was a kid, I would be really happy to have my parents buy me a gameboy, even if it was only black and white.
But now, iPads, iPhones became a typical toy for kids, and with gadgets like those, they can be exposed to the world at a very very young age.
