A female Mountie stated that her supervisor forced her into a sexual relationship and assaulted her, AND according to facts, it was a lengthy sexual relationship too. Of course they are faced with consequences from the code of conduct.
They were both found guilty of disgraceful conduct for having sex in a police car and the misuse of RCMP equipment to send romantic text messages. ( SEXTING??)
Apparently, the adjudicators did not believe the female Mountie’s statements that she believed her supervisor had controlled her career in the force.
At first, RCMP prosecutors requested that the consequences be a seven days docked pay. Later, the adjudicators rejected it, by saying that the consequences have to be more harsh, and that options such as dismissal have to be considered.
THEY SHOULD BE DISMISSED.
